Iran’s military facilities have become a focal point in an ongoing conflict, with commercial satellite images now revealing the extent of the damage caused by recent U.S. and Israeli strikes.
The military campaign commenced with a significant attack in central Tehran, directly impacting Iranian leadership. The operation led to visible smoke at Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s compound, following the killing of the supreme leader.

The operation has expanded significantly, with reports from social media suggesting numerous Iranian military installations have been targeted. In retaliation, Iran has launched counterattacks across the Middle East.
U.S. naval forces have also been involved, striking Iran’s navy. President Trump mentioned on his social media platform that nine Iranian naval vessels were sunk, though U.S. Central Command has yet to confirm these figures. However, it acknowledged that an Iranian warship was hit in port.

Extensive destruction was also observed at a drone base in the region. Iran has responded by launching several drones and missiles towards Israel and U.S. military locations in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar. While many drones were intercepted, some successfully breached defenses, causing damage in Gulf countries. Notably, debris from an Iranian drone damaged Dubai’s Burj Al Arab, as per a government statement.

Iran’s long-range missiles, hidden within mountain tunnels by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, are considered their most formidable weapons. Recent images from northern Iran indicate these tunnels have been attacked during a series of airstrikes.
In the wake of Khamenei’s death, Iran has announced a 40-day period of mourning. Satellite imagery captured large gatherings of mourners in Tehran’s Enghelab Square.
Esmail Baghaei, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson, stated on Sunday that Iran remains committed to resisting “foreign aggression, foreign domination.”
A White House spokesperson conveyed that while President Trump intends to eventually converse with Iran’s interim leaders, U.S. military operations in the region will continue “unabated.”
