Franklin Graham’s Evangelistic Event to Return to London in June

Franklin Graham is poised to bring the “God Loves You Tour” back to London, as part of a series of Christian outreach events by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). The event will occur on June 21 at ExCeL London, and tickets can be acquired for free online.
Following in the footsteps of his father, Billy Graham, Franklin has organized over 345 evangelistic gatherings across more than 55 nations. The BGEA, founded in 1950 with the mission to propagate the teachings of Jesus Christ, maintains a deep-rooted connection with the UK, where Billy Graham delivered more sermons than in any other country outside the United States.
The upcoming London event promises to feature inspiring messages along with live performances by prominent Christian artists like Michael W Smith, The Afters, and CeCe Winans. This marks the eighth UK stop for the tour since its inception in 2022, having already visited cities such as Birmingham, Liverpool, Glasgow, and Sheffield.
Supported by over 1,400 churches nationwide, this free event aims to impart hope and spiritual support amid global challenges. The scope of the outreach extends beyond a single evening, with churches hosting faith-based seminars and training sessions to empower Christians, particularly the youth, to confidently share their faith.
One such initiative is “Pursuit,” a youth-oriented series that has attracted nearly 2,000 participants recently. Youth festival director Reuben Morley observed a rising enthusiasm among young UK residents: “In the last few years, there has been a noticeable shift. We are seeing more members of Gen Z attend church and follow Jesus Christ.”
“Young people are coming together with a shared hunger for God and a boldness to reach their friends, and we believe that many more will come to Christ this June at ExCeL London.”
Preparations are underway to ensure accessibility, with churches coordinating free transportation and reserving hundreds of coaches to bring attendees from London and surrounding areas.
Debbie Ford, an administrator at Elim Pentecostal Church, lauded the tour’s impact: “London needs Jesus. The God Loves You Tour is vital for this city. There’s an urgency to remind people how much God loves them—and London is the perfect place to do that.”
“London is not forgotten. God has not finished with London, the UK, or Europe. In fact, He’s only just starting.”
Franklin Graham, who leads the BGEA, echoed this sentiment about the UK: “The church in the UK isn’t dead. The churches that are continuing to preach God’s Word are alive and well, and I believe this is just the beginning.”
