In a dramatic escalation, the Israeli Air Force executed a series of airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, a move that has sparked international concern and demands for peaceful negotiations. The operation, known as “Strength of a Lion,” saw Israel targeting strategic locations in Iran, claiming that the country was on the brink of developing multiple nuclear warheads.

All Israel News Editor-in-Chief Joel C. Rosenberg reported that the strikes led to the deaths or injuries of several key Iranian officials, including the chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, and the head of Iran’s emergency command.

In response, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei promised retaliation, leading to Iran launching over 100 drones at Israeli sites, according to Israeli Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin.

On the international front, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio clarified that the United States was “not involved in strikes against Iran and our top priority is protecting American forces in the region.” His statement emphasized that the U.S. was in constant communication with its partners and urged Iran to refrain from targeting American interests.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump shared his reflections on the situation via Truth Social, describing the missed opportunities for negotiations with Iran. He stated, “I told them, in the strongest of words, to ‘just do it,’ but no matter how hard they tried, no matter how close they got, they just couldn’t get it done.” Trump implored Israel to pursue a peace agreement to prevent further devastation, urging, “No more death, no more destruction, JUST DO IT, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.”

The unfolding events continue to draw reactions from both political and Christian leaders, highlighting a global call for peaceful resolutions amidst the rising tension.
