Pastor Prays for Divine Protection Over Elon Musk at Wisconsin Rally

Elon Musk Seeks Divine Guidance Amid Political Campaign in Wisconsin

In a gathering marked by appeals for divine assistance, Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX, received a prayer from a pastor during a town hall event in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The pastor’s prayer was aimed at seeking protection for Musk and former President Donald Trump in what was described as their struggle against evil forces.

During the event, which was attended by approximately 2,000 people, Musk advocated for Brad Schimel, a conservative candidate in the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election. The election is pivotal as it may impact congressional redistricting and, consequently, the balance of power in the U.S. House of Representatives.

In an unscripted moment, a member of the audience requested that a prayer be offered for Musk. The pastor, donned in a white clerical collar, proceeded to thank Musk for his efforts in the United States, referring to the challenges he faces as “a bad spirit.”

The pastor elaborated on the challenges facing the nation, stating, “It’s something evil that has come against our country, our morals, our families, et cetera,” and acknowledged the attacks on Musk and Trump. He prayed for protection over Musk and his family, emphasizing the importance of justice and freedom.

Expressing gratitude for the prayer, Musk responded, “That was beautiful. I think we’re going to need divine protection, frankly.”

Coinciding with the pastor’s prayer, Franklin Graham, an evangelist and CEO of Samaritan’s Purse, urged his followers on social media to pray for Musk, highlighting the criticism Musk faces for his efforts to minimize government waste. Graham pointed out the challenges Musk endures, including vandalism against Tesla and difficulties managing his businesses.

Graham emphasized the necessity of divine intervention, stating, “We need to lift [Musk] up in prayer. Even though he is a very smart and gifted man, he still needs wisdom from God. Let’s ask God to lead him, protect him, and give him wisdom. No question, there is power in prayer.”

Musk, who has been vocal about his views on religion, described himself as a “cultural Christian” and acknowledged the influence of Christianity on Western civilization. In a conversation with Jordan Peterson last year, Musk remarked on the wisdom of Jesus’ teachings, saying, “While I’m not a particularly religious person, I do believe that the teachings of Jesus are good and wise, and that there’s tremendous wisdom in turning the other cheek.”
