Reflecting on the incident, White indicated that she had previously warned Trump of the “sacrificial price” of his presidency. The assassination attempt, which happened shortly after her speech at the previous year’s conference, seemed to her the ultimate example of such a price.
Recalling the moment she learned of the attempt, White shared, “I was so discombobulated. That wasn’t just the president to me, that was my friend.” She expressed profound gratitude for Trump’s survival, noting the various “coincidences” of that day, such as the timing of his arrival and the placement of a statistics chart at the rally, which she believes were orchestrated by divine intervention. “That wasn’t a coincidence. That was God’s sovereign divine miracle,” she affirmed.
