He remains in custody, awaiting trial, which may not occur for up to 18 months.
Magali Tassone, a friend of Ross, recounted to BBC Scotland News the depth of Lisa’s compassion for refugees and women facing abuse. Tassone, who shared living quarters with Ross in Switzerland in 2013, described her as someone who often prioritized others over herself. “Her love was obvious and was not just words, but deeds and actions that she would display every day,” Tassone said, highlighting Ross’s lived faith and dedication to helping those around her.
