Renowned for his unmatched intellect, YoungHoon Kim, who boasts the highest recorded IQ in the world, has publicly shared his commitment to Christianity. Utilizing his social media platform, Kim declared, “Jesus Christ is God,” emphasizing his faith.

Kim’s IQ, which stands at a staggering 276 according to the Official World Record and Guinness World Records affiliates, was highlighted in his recent post on X. He stated, “As the world’s highest IQ record holder, I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life.”

He further elaborated that his faith in Jesus is supported by reason, stating, “Christ is my logic.” Kim aims to leverage his public influence to guide others spiritually.

Although primarily celebrated for his scientific and technological contributions, Kim has a longstanding interest in theology. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Theology from Yonsei University in Seoul, a decision he regards as one of his best. He described theology as “the ultimate discipline of all fields of study.”

Earlier this year, Kim shared insights on the afterlife, blending scientific perspectives with spiritual beliefs. He suggested that life after death aligns with scientific principles, noting, “Our consciousness is not just brain activity, but it is something deeper.” Kim referenced quantum physics, stating, “Quantum physics says that information never disappears. Never. It only changes in form. If our consciousness is quantum information, it may continue after the body is gone.”

Kim likened the human brain to a local device and the afterlife to cloud storage, proposing that consciousness might extend beyond physical confines. He added, “Quantum entanglement suggests that our consciousness is part of a bigger system beyond the physical world,” even suggesting that life could be a simulation overseen by a higher-dimensional being. “If reality is part of something bigger, then death is not the end, but a transition.”

Kim’s impressive intellectual background includes being the founder and CEO of NeuroStory, a South Korean company innovating in digital brain health solutions through AI, machine learning, big data, and nanotechnology. The company’s groundbreaking work in neuroscience and healthcare has been recognized by the South Korean government.

He also established the United Sigma Intelligence Association, an organization uniting the world’s brightest minds, with members like Richard Dawkins and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Furthermore, Kim initiated the Intellectual Hall of Fame, honoring figures such as Elon Musk, Stephen Hawking, Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and Warren Buffett.

Despite engaging with elite scientific and technological communities, Kim’s dedication to his Christian faith remains steadfast. He argues that science and faith are complementary in the quest for truth.

“Science is growing now, and we are learning more about consciousness and reality,” Kim stated. “Our death is not destruction, but change and shift. Humanity will keep searching for the truth about what comes after.”
