As the Trump administration enters its seventh full week, significant strides are being made both domestically and internationally. At the forefront, the administration is appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn rulings impeding a key component of President Donald Trump’s domestic policy agenda. Additionally, actions are being taken against students participating in protests supporting the Hamas terrorist group and against universities practicing race-based discrimination.

Efforts continue both at home and abroad to negotiate peace and bring an end to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Here are five notable developments from the past week.

Domestic Policy Challenges

The Trump administration is addressing legal challenges to its policy initiatives by petitioning the U.S. Supreme Court. The goal is to reverse decisions that have stalled one of the president’s prominent domestic policies.

Student Protests and University Policies

Crackdowns are underway against students involved in demonstrations supporting Hamas, as well as universities that are found to be engaging in race-based discrimination. This move signifies a robust stance on issues of national security and educational equality.

International Efforts for Peace

In parallel, diplomatic efforts are being made to broker a cease-fire in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The administration is actively working to facilitate negotiations that could lead to a peaceful resolution.
