Trump Announces Potential Deal with Harvard Amid Student Visa Dispute

Trump and Harvard Reach Potential Agreement Amidst Ongoing Legal Disputes

The ongoing legal and political skirmishes between President Trump and Harvard University over international students have taken a new turn. With negotiations underway, an anticipated agreement between the administration and the university is reportedly on the horizon.

In a recent post on social media, President Trump stated, “They have acted extremely appropriately during these negotiations, and appear to be committed to doing what is right.” He further described the potential agreement as “HISTORIC, and very good for our Country.”

This development comes as a federal judge has granted a preliminary injunction to prevent the Trump administration from banning international students from attending classes at Harvard. This follows an earlier temporary block by Judge Allison D. Burroughs, as noted in a previous ruling.

These legal maneuvers are part of a broader campaign against Harvard’s international student policies. The president has also disqualified Harvard students from receiving visas, citing the university’s inability to address “known illegal activity” by students, as per a recent proclamation.
