Severe Weather Causes Significant Damage in Houston Suburb
In the wake of a tornado that struck a residential area outside Houston, over 100 homes have suffered damage. The incident, which occurred on Monday, left the community grappling with the aftermath but fortunately resulted in no reported injuries, as confirmed by Texas authorities.

Images and footage shared on Facebook by the Harris County Precinct 3 constable highlight the extensive damage, showing roofs stripped of their shingles and roads obstructed by debris. The Memorial Northwest neighborhood, specifically, bore the brunt of the storm, as indicated by Mark Herman’s office, the constable on duty.

The aftermath required intervention from the Houston Fire Department, which dispatched a team of five to clear fallen trees and other obstructions. Rustin Rawlings, a spokesperson for the department, confirmed their involvement in the clean-up efforts.
A tornado watch remains in effect for southeastern Texas, including Houston, until 1 a.m. Tuesday, as announced by the National Weather Service. Additionally, a severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of the region, signaling the potential for further severe weather conditions.
