Thousands Unite for Jesus March in London
In a vibrant display of faith, approximately 7,000 individuals congregated in London for the return of the “Jesus March.” This event, held last month, saw participants engaging in worship, prayer, and public demonstration of their Christian beliefs.
The march took place on the afternoon of May 23, beginning at Marble Arch and concluding at Trafalgar Square. Here, participants indulged in an extended session of praise, prayer, and worship.
The timing of the march coincided with Pentecost weekend, a significant period marking the inception of the worldwide church and the Holy Spirit’s endowment upon believers.
Harry George, one of the event’s organizers, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Jesus March 2026 has been truly wonderful! I loved getting to see such a diverse group of people, from every walk of life coming together to celebrate the Name of Jesus as a Christian family drawn from every tribe and tongue.”
Organized by Icthus Christian Fellowship alongside various Christian leaders nationwide, the event emphasized its non-political nature, distinctly separating itself from the concept of “Christian UK nationalism.”
The weekend before the March for Jesus, London witnessed Tommy Robinson’s Unite the Kingdom rally. Robinson, who recently converted to Christianity, has advocated for a restoration of Christianity in Britain, linking spiritual revival with national revival.
While Robinson’s rally celebrated both British identity and Christianity, the March for Jesus remained focused on spiritual matters. Participants were discouraged from bringing national symbols or protest paraphernalia.
George further remarked, “The rising awareness of Christian revival in the UK shows that God is on the move, amongst all nationalities and in all countries, and we recognise what an incredible blessing it is to the London church to have different cultures right at the heart.”
In addition to the London event, May also featured a March for Jesus in Belfast, which attracted thousands of attendees.
